Once you fill our the application and apply (coming in the fall!), then your application will be evaluated by the current board members. If you seem qualified, have a high enough GPA, are in good standing with your sorority, and seem like you will be a great addition to next year's team, then our President will reach out to you about the interview process. Once you go through that, there's a final vote to decide if you are the best candidate for this position. You're likely going up against other members from your Panhellenic community, so bring your all!
-
There are a few things we look out for when you submit your application:
1. You are an active member in your sorority in good-standing.
2. You have a high enough GPA (specific information coming out soon).
3. Your experience in your sorority, and/or in other orgs on campus, that makes you qualified for the position(s) you applied for. For example, if you've been on your chapter's recruitment team and are running for VP Recruitment & Retention.
4. Your ability to disaffiliate completely from your sorority starting in April. This means completely removing your affiliation from all public platforms, as well as any other place it could be (your car decal, other member's social media accounts, etc.).
5. Most importantly! Your ability to be unbiased in decisions, during recruitment, and in many situations that may impact a sorority that is your own.
